Got the scrap book up-dated of pictures Ginger and I have made of all the bicycle events we have attended so far this year.
Will leave for Ginger's around 10:00am this morning, beginning my trip to Atlanta, Nashville and Tulsa. Will return on Nov. 12th or 13th. If any of my family needs to eMail me for some reason, I will be able to check the bicyclesavannah@yahoo.com address at Rick's and Ellen's. I cannot access my comcast addresses away from my home computer. (Actually there is a way to do it, but I don't understand the instructions).
You all know my cell phone number, reach me on it in an emergency, please!
Next post will be around my birthday, Nov. 13th ... 76 years, wow!

Back to square one, as LSU proved Auburn's success was short lived by totally dominating Auburn's offensive and defencisive lines. Rats! What a disappointment!
Sent plans for BRAG Board of Directors to meet in Peachtree City Thursday night at Fuddruckers for dinner, then use Rick's office for the Board Meeting.
Will get ready for Statesboro, Atlanta, Nashville and Tulsa trip today. Probably my last post until November 13th

Today was ear cleaning day, my regular doctor was out of town the medical assistant had changed jobs so saw my doctors partner a Dr. Oliver who vacuumed my ears and I now can hear plan as day!
Got brake light replaced at Ford Dealers Service Department. The whole tail light has to be removed to get to bulbs which I had bought at auti supply store, but didn't have the deep socket wrench to loosen nuts, so took it to Ford place. They charged me $22.00 to replace the bulb, which is about what a wrench cost to fix it myself.
Stopped at Jim Walter Homes yesterday, priced 90 percent finished homes, was shocked at price ...$70,000 for a small 3BR and one bath frame house. Maybe if I buy the shell at much less money, my whole family can come and help me with sheet rock, plumbing, painting, etc???!!!
Tomorrow I go to Coaches Corner and watch AU vs LSU on ESPN with Savannah Auburn Club. We will watch game on porch with big screen TV because some members don't like smoke inside. I will wear my Auburn warm up suit and Orange Auburn T-shirt and orange Auburn cap .... will be no question who I am pulling!!!!
Have two projects to complete before I leave for Ginger's Monday, they are (1) up-date scrap book with three events and (2) write the manual and print it out for the trails tour. Will be in Inverness 11/18-11/20 to finish all details and edit manual when I come back for Jan Florida Trails Tours.

Today was the second year of Virginia's passing on Oct 22, 2001. Hard to believe time as gone by so fast, but keeping busy has really helped me turn the corner and put my self on a new life.
I went to St. Simons Island and Jekyll today to pick up labels from Monkeywrench Bicycle Shop and add to them to the 996 names I culled from my mailing list. This provide Jekyll Authority about 1,700 names to mail the Jingle Bell Bicycle Ride post card for this ride that I am managing for them. They also will provide a room for me, as well as pay me $200.00 for my time. Last year they gave me $500.00, but I did the flyer and some other things and paid for my room. Will probably come out better with the deal this year.
On the way home, I picked up my 3rd Qtr taxes from Nadel's Acct and Tax. I owe $730 for this Qtr, I have $600 held back, so it's almost painless ...ugh!
Tomorrow I will ride with the AIM Group at Hunter Army Air Field, then meet Ted Ousted at Oglethorpe Speedway and pick up a check ($498.00) for re-imbursing me for the expenses I had for the Oglethorpe Challenge Off Road Race/GAP Series. He will now be the GAP Promoter for this area. I will also launch preliminary talks with him about him taking over bicycleSAVANNAH in 2005. He says he would like to talk to me about that. I will try and post my accounting figures early tomorrow morning so I will have a rough idea of profits this year.
Will leave here Monday for Ginger's, then next Thursday to Atlanta, Saturday to Nashville and the next Thursday to Tulsa. Will return to Ginger's Monday or Tuesday 11/11, come home 11/13 (my birthday) then off to Florida the 14th, returning 11/20. Will be away much of November, because back to Ginger's 11/26 for Thanksgiving until we go to Jekyll 11/29 for the Jingle Bell Ride. Whew! Back home for a while Dec. 1st. But going to Charleston with Ginger to camp out and ride three days of the Rural Ride Around the Islands Dec. 5-7.
